William Mougayar presented Eqentia at DemoCamp Toronto 24 (03-Dec-2009; 333 Bloor Street East, Toronto, ON):
There was a brief Q&A after the presentation:
It’s a tricky space, with a lot of people vying for attention, but it’s also a space with a lot of potential. We’ll see if Eqentia can manage to differentiate itself from the crowd.

Thanks Geoffrey for posting the video.
I disagree that it’s a crowded space. We’re not an aggregator per se; we’re a platform for customizing smart aggregation (so, we enable aggregators), and we’re focused on the enterprise space/business users, not consumers.
One of the showcase portals that I’ve demoed on the Canadian Tech scene http://portal.eqentia.com/canadatech is just one example of what you can do with the platform.
I’m not sure who else is doing this exactly.

Ah, I don’t think I understood your target; that does put a somewhat different spin on it. Doesn’t that still put you somewhat in the same market as the companies providing social media monitoring and the like?
In any case, will be interesting to see it evolve.
